Tomorrow, the Duchess of Cambridge will lead an online assembly for the Oak National Academy during which she will speak about the importance of mental wellbeing among children. The theme of the Duchess’ assembly is ‘spread a little kindness’ and is based on a lesson plan which is available on the Mentally Healthy Schools platform. This platform was developed in collaboration with children’s mental health charity Place2Be and encourages children to explore ways in which they can show kindness and recognise the benefits of kindness to others.

Hello Year 3! I hope you are all well and safe. I can see that a lot of you are working really hard on your home learning tasks and that makes me very happy. 

 

I will be uploading a powerpoint presentation for each day and you will find all your home learning tasks on it. Please make sure to look at the powerpoint presentation before you do your tasks on Purple Mash as it has all the details and instructions for your tasks. 

 

For English, you need to watch the video titled 'Pebble in my Pocket Day 1' on our class webpage before carrying on with your main task. 

 

For guided reading, I have uploaded a time table for you to look at. All of your tasks will be based on your guided reading tables as if you were in school.

2.  After launching the Epic app, click on “Have an account?” Log In” then click “Students & Educators”

3. Log in with your class code which has been texted to you

4. You will then have to select your name and you’ll then get access to the app!

5. Once you get access, you will find the book picked for each of you in your mailbox
