As part of our curriculum, the children learn about food nutrition and cooking. This half term, the children have been practising cutting and chopping fruit safely.
Kim Normanton, children's author and storyteller, visited St Alban's this week. She told the children traditional tales from Ghana and India. Bloomsbury Publishing and Kim gave all the children a copy of her book Super Great Kids' Stories to take home!

To bring their History learning to life, the children visited Kensington Palace, meeting ‘Queen Victoria’ and discovering toys from Victorian times.
Our Key Stage 1 children developed the skill of weaving, producing colourful artwork inspired by Abdoulaye Konaté.
Our Year 1 and 2 children enjoyed sorting items by size and colour, helping them develop key maths and thinking skills.
