Update from Headteacher regarding proposed phased return to school for some pupils
Our school vision
Our vision is that all our pupils should grow in:
Faith in God, or be inspired by faith, and in their own ability to fulfil their potential,
Hope to be the best of examples, to work to change themselves and the world for the better, and
Love, reflecting God’s love in unselfish love for others.

Dear Parents and Carers
Re Government proposed “phased return” of pupils
Dear parents and carers
Please find below further information for parents about the proposed phased return of select classes to schools:
- Currently, it is proposed that the classes will be Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 only.
- The date proposed is FROM June 1st, not ON June 1st. Please note that if your child is in one of the suggested year groups, it will be highly unlikely that they will be in school full time as from June 1st. It is likely that any return will be done in groups and on a rota basis. This is because we have strict safety measures that we need to adhere to, such as social distancing of the pupils/staff.
- We are in the process of collating a risk assessment for the phased return and this will form the basis for any decisions that are made.
- Parents of those children in the key classes will be informed as to how and when their child may return to school, in the next week. However, if there is a delay in this, please be patient as guidance from the Government is subject to change.
In the meantime, the situation remains unchanged; schools are closed to pupils except those of key workers and/or pupils classed as vulnerable and home learning continues to be set by class teachers.
Thank you for your ongoing support and do continue to take care.
