Update from Headteacher regarding message from Prime Minister

Our school vision

Our vision is that all our pupils should grow in:

Faith in God, or be inspired by faith, and in their own ability to fulfil their potential,

Hope to be the best of examples, to work to change themselves and the world for the better, and

Love, reflecting God’s love in unselfish love for others.

Dear Parents and Carers

Re Message from the Prime Minister on 10.05.20

Dear parents and carers

Many of you will have heard about, or watched, the message from Boris Johnson last night. He stated that there may be the possibility of a phased return to school for children in R, Y1 and Y6, as from 1st June.

As the speech was only last night, schools have not yet had any guidance or clarity from the Government about this.  Our key priority is that the safety of our children and their families is paramount when reviewing any advice we receive.

I will therefore update parents as and when information comes in.

In the meantime, the situation remains unchanged; schools are closed to pupils except those of key workers and/or pupils classed as vulnerable and home learning continues to be set by class teachers.

Thank you for your ongoing support and do continue to take care.

Rebecca
