Update from Headteacher

Our school vision

Our vision is that all our pupils should grow in:

Faith in God, or be inspired by faith, and in their own ability to fulfil their potential,

Hope to be the best of examples, to work to change themselves and the world for the better, and

Love, reflecting God’s love in unselfish love for others.

Update for parents June 1st 2020

Dear Parents and Carers

A very warm hello at the start of our second half of Summer term

Today we welcomed in children from our Nursery, reception, Year 1 and Year 6 classes, as part of the Government’s plan to encourage more pupils back into schools.

It has been wonderful to see these children and I know that the staff have missed them!  However, those who are still home learning are never far from our thoughts and we are now thinking about how we can have communication between those pupils in school and their peers at home, so that children still have a sense of belonging.  I will continue to update parents about what this might look like, in the coming weeks.

Father Christopher and Father Eddie will still be coming into school at times, although this will look very different to the whole school worship we are used to, given the health and safety measures that are in place.  We feel it is important to continue this strong link with our church and as part of that, Father Eddie has launched a competition for all pupils (and adults!) to enter (SEE BELOW).

I will write again soon with any further updates, but for now will leave you with artwork done by our Key Worker children during the early stages of lockdown.  The rainbow has become quite a symbol of hope during these times and I know that we hope to all be together in our school again, soon.

Stay safe everyone.

We are a strong community and will continue to get through this difficult time, together.
