Tonight we performed Daffodils - a creative showcase of music, art, dance, script writing and acting. This half term the children signed up to their university course of choice: acting, dancing, art, music, poetry writing or photography. Their work culminated in the production Daffodils, based on the famous poem by William Wordsworth.
The library was taken over by an art installation - a collection of artwork created and inspired by Wordsworth’s poem, the art of Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe. Techniques used: screen printing, sculpture, line and charcoal drawings.
The photography group took photographs of flowers using reflection and filter techniques.
The children told the story of Wordsworth's life through song, music and poetry. They composed and played their own music and wrote and performed their own poetry.
