Collective Worship takes place every day and may be led by the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, teacher, visitor or one of the Clergy from the Church. Collective Worship is based upon the teachings of the Christian church but is inclusive, allowing space for all children to respond and reflect in their own way. Such occasions also allow us as a school community the opportunity to celebrate children’s achievements and learning.
We have a Collective Worship Committee, a group of children who help prepare, lead and evaluate Collective Worship.
Parents/Carers are welcome to join us on Fridays at 9.10am. Following our worship time together, children will share their learning with us and the achievements and high points of the week will be celebrated.
Parents/Carers retain the right to withdraw children from R.E. and Collective Worship. This issue can be discussed with the Headteacher.
